About TeenLife

After completing my Honours degree in Industrial Psychology, I began my career in consulting and recruitment, later transitioning into training.

I continued working in consulting, specialising in assessment centres and psychometry, and registered as a Psychometrist in Independent Practice. I then moved into the corporate environment, where I gained experience across the full HR value chain. Despite this broad exposure, I felt a strong calling to pursue my passion for working with teenagers and young adults.

My professional journey has given me deep insight into what drives long-term success — and, more importantly, how the right decisions early in life can shape an entire career. TeenLife was established to bring this expertise to young people at one of the most pivotal stages of their lives. I offer guidance on subject selection, career direction, and academic support, empowering teenagers and young adults to make informed and confident decisions about their future.

What our clients say

Working with my career guidance coach has been a transformative experience. They helped me gain clarity about my strengths, interests, and long-term vision, and guided me toward a career path that truly aligns with who I am. Through a structured approach and insightful questions, I was able to see opportunities I had previously overlooked. Jo's guidance didn’t just help me choose a career; it helped me understand myself better.

We are so grateful for the guidance our Gr 12 daughter received from Jo. She was unsure about her future and didn’t know where to begin. Through a thoughtful and structured process, Jo helped her to explore her interests, do her own research, and to take real ownership of her decisions.

The approach allowed our daughter to progress at her own pace and present her findings to us, which really built her confidence. By the end, she knew exactly what she wanted to do, felt calm about her choices, and was excited for the year ahead. We also appreciated the fact that several academic institutions were explored, giving her flexibility and confidence in her next steps.

We can’t thank Jo enough for helping our daughter find clarity, purpose, and enthusiasm for the journey ahead.
